TOPO All-Mountain Dual Disc MTB Bike Wheels

Whether you ride downhill, enduro, free-ride, or the local jumps, the Corki Cycles TOPO All-Mountain MTB Wheels were built to last. Building on the success of our XC wheels we strove to create an all-round wheelset. With a stronger design and construction, enjoy flowing down the trails in confidence.

The dual-disc MTB wheelset is compatible with both hardtail and full-suspension mountain bikes. The MTB wheelset is durable, strong, and built for aggressive and demanding trails. The rear wheel hub features a 6-pawl freehub that is compatible with both Sram and Shimano 8, 9, 10, and 11-speed cassettes.

This MTB wheelset is only compatible with disc brakes, not V-Brakes.

For the best ride feel use tires with a width of 1.5 - 2.6. The TOPO mountain bike wheels are also compatible with tubeless and clincher tires.

All-Mountain Dual Disc MTB Bike Wheels Sizing

With a mountain bike wheelset, it's important to balance strength with weight. To ensure a strong, long-lasting bike wheel Corki Cycles used reinforced Aluminum 6061 hubs, double-wall rims, 32 steel alloy spokes, and brass nipples. The 26"/27.5"/29" wheelset together weighs 1750g, 1800g, and 1850g. Use the MTB wheelset with Presta inner tube valves if you chose to run a clincher setup.

The aluminum alloy double-wall rim design absorbs even the biggest jumps and drops. In addition, we use thick rim tape to prevent punctures and snake bites.
The front hub has a diameter of 100mm with a thru-axle shaft diameter of 15mm. A 15mm shaft is compatible with most front suspension forks. The rear hub has a diameter of 142mm with a thru-axle shaft diameter of 12mm.

This mountain bike wheelset was built for thru-axles to provide a stronger more durable ride.

Check out our quick-release XC wheelset should you not have thru-axle compatibility.

This is a solid wheel set, price is good, weight is pretty good, and they feel quite solid

This is a solid wheel set, price is good, weight is pretty good, and they feel quite solid. There are some large stickers (which seem like they can be removed). The biggest downside is that these wheels are not boost -- so if you want to run on a thru-axle disc bike that's been made in the last few years -- you'll have to get a conversion kit (to make sure the brake, cassette stays in the correct place). Unfortunate since I think this makes a weird combination that will not be useful for quite a few bikes. (And the unfortunate part is that they didn't not give dimensions before I ordered these so I did not know)

I would recommend these to any cross country mountain biker

I tested the 26in ToPo wheel set. Some of the good things to note: These wheels are engineered with cartridge bearings, which means at some point I can replace the bearings and keep on riding. The rear hub uses the 6 pawl design (similar to Stans wheels), which too can be serviceable. The wheels arrived with no wobbles or flat spots, they arrived tubeless ready with the inner rim already taped and with a Shimano free hub body I was able to put a 10 speed cassette on the free hub. If you're on the picky side the rear hub is pretty loud. The rotors I had from another wheelset attached easily.CONCERNS: I would recommend to anyone, research the specs of your bike, before you buy. notice these are thru-axles, not skewers. make sure that you know the dimensions of your rear hub and purchase the correct sizing/spacing. Another concern I have is durability. I have done 6 rides on the set and they are still somewhat true but these rims are light, I am an advanced rider and have taken them over jumps and drops and so far so good but I would rate durability at a 3.5 out of 5. Price point is hard to beat, for the current price of 240 bucks you can get a wheel set! Not just a rear wheel. My hope is these will last 2 seasons. I ride almost all year round in the pacific northwest where mud, rain and sand beat on components, so the serviceability of these hubs is a big positive. I ended up opting for the 26 in wheels as It's extremely challenging to find a set of 26 in wheels anymore. In summary, I think the price point, the serviceability of the hubs and the quality make this a great deal for the price. I would recommend these to any cross country mountain biker and casual all-mountain biker. Perhaps not the best for freeride/downhill.

Very good backup set for an avid rider

Coming off of a Chris King/Sun wheel set, I have to be a little less critical than I would normally be, considering this entire wheel set costs half of just one of my hubs does. With that in mind, I was actually impressed. They perform well.. Little flex on the trails and engagement is smooth and tight. If you were thinking of running this wheel set with V brakes, don't. These are designed for disks and don't have the thicker material around the rim for pads to grab. They also have graphics all the way around. I though the quality of the graphics made the wheels look a little cheap and removed them. Without the stickers, they fit right in with more expensive wheel sets. They are extremely light weight, lighter than my pro downhill wheels by a good amount. I haven't cased anything hard but I also haven't been easy on them and have not gotten any appreciable bends. New, they spun true as could be with barely 1mm of deviation. They aren't as good as my wheels which run 5x the price... but they are certainly more than 1/5th as good. I'm starting to prefer this wheel set because I don't have to care about it as much and it performs so well... Very good backup set for an avid rider, even better main wheel set for a novice or intermediate skill leveled ride.

Got these wheels for testing purposes

Got these wheels for testing purposes. These are great wheels for the entry level rider. They are tubeless ready. The width allows for tires up to 2.4" wide, however now days tires are getting wider and they should add a wider option for these. It would also be a good idea to add boost width options as well so that could fit on my downhill bike. I put them to the test on some of our more rugged trails here in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I even did a few drops with them. They held up just fine to the beating and banging around of Raccoon mountain trails. I don't see any signs of damage and they haven't made any creaking or rattling noises yet. These seem like a pretty good wheelset for under $300.
