XC Mountain Bike Dual Disc Wheelset

There is nothing quite like riding and hearing the beautiful sound of your rear hub spinning away. That clicking sound is magical and a sign of a high-quality wheelset. The Corki Cycles XC mountain bike dual disc wheels were built to give you a greater riding experience. The front and rear wheel hubs are designed with 2 bearings for smoother riding as well as to ensure a sealed wheel structure. The 6-pawl inner rear hub ensures an efficient distribution of force over a large surface area. This provides a longer set of wheels, but more so a smoother ride.

XC Mountain Bike Wheels Specs

The Corki Cycles mountain bike wheels are solid and durable all-round mountain bike wheels. Built with 32H Aluminum alloy rims, Aluminum 6061 hubs, stainless steel spokes, and brass nipples. We utilized 3 materials to optimize strength, yet also ensure a lightweight pair of MTB wheels.

The front and rear wheels both have 32 spokes.

The front wheel hub width is 100mm and the rear is 135mm. Ride on all terrains, from the gnarliest rock gardens to the local trails. Enjoy a reliable and long-lasting wheelset.

26"/27.5"/29" XC Mountain Bike Wheels

Our wheelset comes in 3 sizes: 26", 27.5", and 29". Choose the wheelset size to match your mountain bike. Attach your front and rear wheel disc brake rotors onto the wheels with the universal 6-bolt hub connection. The rear wheel hub is compatible with Shimano and Sram 8, 9, 10, and 11-speed cassette gear sets.

On the rim, you will find a thick inner rim tape to protect your inner tube. The rim itself features a reinforced 2-layer aluminum alloy design. This ensures greater strength and reduces the likelihood of buckling even on the most challenging terrain. The rim is compatible with both Presta and Schrader valves but specifically built for Schrader valves.

The wheelset is not compatible with tubeless tires only clincher.

Attach your Corki Cycles mountain bike wheels with the front and rear quick-release skewers. Every wheelset comes with a complementary set of skewers. The Corki Cycles wheelset is incompatible with V-brakes or using a front and rear thru-axle.

Wheel attachment is via quick-release skewers.

⚙️ What inner tube valve is this wheel set compatible with?

The wheel set is compatible with Schrader valves although presto also is suitable.

⚙️ Can I convert this wheel set to thru-axle?

No, this wheelset is only compatible with QR release skewers.

⚙️ Is this wheelset compatible with super boost?

Most likely not as super-boost uses 12 speed usually, these MTB wheels are suitable for 8-11 speed gear systems from both Sram and Shimano

⚙️ What is the tire size compatibility?

You can fit tires from 1.6 - 2.6 with the optimal size being 2.3.

⚙️ What material are the spokes and nipples made from?

The spokes are made with stainless steel and the spokes are made with brass. The rims and hub are built using aluminium.

⚙️ Can I use V-brakes with this wheelset?

No, these wheels are only suitable for disc brakes.

⚙️ Does the rear hub click and make a sound when riding?

Yes, the rear wheel has that distinct magical sound all riders love when coasting.

These wheels are great

These wheels are great. I set them up tubeless with continental race king tires. They are super lightweight and durable. Put over 500 mi on them so far. They are still as true as the day I bought them. The freewheel is fantastic and has a crisp sound. I highly recommend them and I would buy them again.
